Racism: Racism against aliens, also called "alienism" and more positively "humanism", is a wide-spread practice within the Pact of Humanity. As per the orders of the 440th High Secretary, alien beings have little or no place within the Pact. Heavily burdened by vitriolic taxation, these beings are definitely second-class citizens, with few rights. In keeping the technological innovation low, the Pact has denied itself of substantial revenue, but the determination of government officials to keep the local alien population from becoming dangerous competitors is a primary government function. Human-first thinking is the norm for most humans within the Pact. Any human showing favoritism to any alien is derided, demonized, and/or demoted. Humanism, in the Pact, has become human supremacy, and outright racism.

Regional Wars: A difficult series of wars that the Pact fought against the bear-like Holot race, in nearly every campaign the Pact of Humanity had superior numbers, but the Holot’s far superior technology easily balanced the odds. Although the Holot Empire has only 1,500 inhabited worlds, it withstood the continual assaults of the Pact Navy. A aggressive species, the Holots have started nearly every Regional War, mainly over disputed territory. Alien races are welcome in Holot space, generating a third column within the Pact that the Kona Tatsu have ruthlessly tried to stamp out.

Resolution Campaign: One of this centuries most important military campaigns against the rabid Dionii hordes, the Pact military under command of Admiral Frank Cavalier and Admiral Mora Dyen dealt a devastating blow to the massing Dionii forces in the Horseye Combat Region. A brilliant campaign, Resolution actually halted the 18th Dionii Wave in its tracks for nearly six months as the confused and ravaged Dionii sought to regroup.

Revolt of the Admirals:  A disruptive event following the signing of the New Washington Naval Treaty between the Pact and the Holot Empire, several Pact Navy Admiral’s revolted against the treaty’s stipulations, mainly the scrapping of vital Navy carriers. Fighting in several systems took place but was crushed with the use of several Warlord fleets and the Kona Tatsu. The main perpetrator, Admiral Yanid ba Salaam was assassinated onboard his command superdreadnought, PNS Sulimain, in the Ontario System. Other significant Admirals who rebelled include, Yelena Bonner, Lev Penomarev, Sergei Yushenkov, Igor Yakovenko, and Carlos de la Rua. Warlord Uel Wellington was commended for his operations against ba Salaam and gained the High Admiralship, a first for the Pact Navy.

Rh/attes: A race of rat-like aliens standing normally five feet tall, the Rh/attes have had a on-again off-again relationship with the Pact. Although not as alien as the wasp-like Dionii, reptilian Mqdrekkor, or vampiric Luren, the Rh/attes have had some enmity towards humanity since the conquest of their homeworld by the Pact Navy 620 years ago. Being skilled at trading as well as being information specialists, the Rh/attes have worked with Kona Tatsu agents in several different situations including the Bellevue System Revolt and 14th Dionii Conflict. Nearly forty billion Rh/attes are spread throughout Pact space, serving in varied high-level functions: a rarity in the human-supremacist Pact. When first looking at a Rh/atte, most people are reminded of the disgusting disease-infested rodents of their homeworlds, and treat Rh/attes accordingly. Although disliking this treatment, Rh/attes have become accommodated to this treatment and strive hard to prove their worth to their mammalian allies. The informational analysis of Rh/attes has helped the Pact at several crucial moments, including the Farseel System Disaster and the Fourth Holot Negotiations. The Rh/attes also have investigative teams researching the famed Loawon Tyranny and Dusarra Mega-Dyson Sphere, a object reputed to contain the surface area of one billion Earth-like planets.

Rif: A Rifkinite, or supporter of ancient humanist Jeremy Rifkin and his anti-genetic engineering, anti-nanotech crusade; against any and all research or implementation in these areas. Having survived for centuries, Rifkin's ideas have evolved into a sect bent on "saving" humanity from rabid technology. A gifted terrorist group.
