NO SIGN OF HARVESTERS

"There has been no sign of them." That is the official statement given by the Central Federation President Parthan Del gave yesterday at the Central Plexus. The deadly machine-like Harvesters of Life, who had consistently attacked the Federation for nearly 30 years, haven't been seen in over six months. "There's no telling what they're up to," the President reiterated at his official residence, the massive space station that orbits the yellow star Gigantes. Located at the center of the Federation, Gigantes is the site of a massive warp point nexus that connects all three Fed regions: the Oon, the N'Hydran, and the Mowassi.

GOOG COLONIZATION EFFORTS

Apparently on the move, the Goog Abhorrence emplaced substantial population in Home II and several additional T-worlds in an effort to relieve the massive overpopulation of Home I and build a larger tax base. The Goog's highly aggressive nature and their location next to the Hadramaw Warp Junction makes them the most lethal threat that Known Space has ever seen.

RUMORS OF WAR

Tension in the Central Federation is rising after border disputes between the Mowassi and the N'Hydrans have risen recently, and the unilateral annexation of dozens of worlds by the Oon has also sparked a row in the government as of late. The massive pressure of overpopulation among the rapidly reproducing Oon race has fueled their colonization efforts and apparently they are trying to overcome their disadvantages in technology and aggressiveness by throwing up colonies in every nook and cranny within Federation space.

RISE OF THE RACES

Several unique alien races have risen in the Frontier regions of Known Space recently. These races include the Ilkarians, the Kaljurii, the Dogul, the Hogarth, and the Cyad Empire. Although they are starting off with minimal colonies, the Almighty sees them as being eventually successful against the many races that inhabit Known Space.
