Cestun Military Command Structure
Cestuns have two main branches. The Red and the Green Command. The Green Command is the main military elements. The Red Command contains all of the support elements of the military.
The Green Command is split into 3 parts. The Battle Fleets, Skywatch and Planetary Assault Forces.
The First Space Lord always commands the Battle Fleet 1.
The Third Space Lord always commands Cestus B I Skywatch.
The Fifth Space Lord always commands Planetary Assault Group 1.
The Fleet Admiral of the Green commands all of Green Command. Always assigned to Battle Fleet 2.
There are three Vice Admirals of the Green.
The 1st Vice Admiral of the Green always commands Battle Fleet Diviosion and Battle Fleet 3.
The 2nd Vice Admiral of the Green always commands Skywatch Division and Skywatch Cestus A I.
The 3rd Vice Admiral of the Green always commands Planetary Assault Division and commands Planetary Assault Group 2.
Battle Fleets command includes all forces that are used to fight enemies of the state.
Current Fleet composition of the Battle Fleets is 1 Gryphon, 2 Homer’s, 4 Saganami’s, and 4 Wayfarer’s.
Skywatch’s are fixed defenses at any location. Typically they are at T worlds. But they also will include warp points. Current fleet composition is 3 Sphinx Bases.
Planetary Assault Forces is the PCF’s and shipping elements for them. This is the army of the Cestus Collective. Current fleet composition is 6 Prince Consort and 120 PCF’s.
The Red Command is split into System Defense Fleet, Survey Fleet, Shipyards and Quartermaster Fleet.
The Second Space Lord always commands Survey Group 1.
The Fourth Space Lord always commands Defense Force 1.
The Sixth Space Lord always commands Fleet Train 1.
The First Lord of the Admiralty always commands Cestus Yards Right.
The Fleet Admiral of the Red commands all of Red Command. Always assigned System Defence Force 2.
There are four Vice Admirals of the Red.
1st Vice Admiral of the Red is always assigned System Defense Division and always commands System Defense Force 3.
2nd Vice Admiral of the Green is always assigned Survey Division and always commands Survey Group 2.
3rd Vice Admiral of the Green is always assigned Yards Division and always commands Cestus Yards Right.
4th Vice Admiral of the Green is always assigned Quartermasters Division and always commands Rescue Group 1.
Survey Fleet is the exploratory arm of the Cestun Navy. A Survey group is composed of 25 Medusa’s.
System Defense Fleet is the early response units for the Cestus Collective. These units primary goal is to harass and slow down and enemies’ efforts to invade and control Cestun Territories. Current composition is 6 SDB’s in a Defense Force and 1 Minotaur in a Carrier Force per system plus 6 SDB's and 1 Minotaur per Medium population in that system.
Shipyards are those elements that perform construct and repair functions. This includes stationary and mobile Shipyards and Machine Shops. A typical Yard has 10 SY’s on a SS hull. MRD’s will typically contain 5 Healer’s.
Quartermaster Fleet contains all elements that are used to supply the any other force. They also contain the Search and Rescue elements. The Fleet Train and Rescue Fleet composition is currently under review.
