Close political ties by the Arabs in the FWA and the Compact have also been formed, causing ripples of consternation within the Compact high command.

Notes: A marginal state bordering the hostile People’s Republic, the Defcon League is only a defensive military grouping of worlds, primarily comprised of the Big Five (Arrarat, Columbia, New California, New Portland, and Pacifica). The League is the only Anglo-dominated microstate within the Free Worlds.

Notes: A hispanic-dominated polity, the capital of the Kobra Worlds (Nueva Brasilia) is doing everything within its’ power to stave off conflict with the People’s Republic, including building down its’ military forces. The border worlds (Amazon and Corona) have not followed this policy and the very rich world Del Sol is financing them (to keep the PRC far away from their planet).
